If you're looking for a good summer read to go with working on your tan, I recommend the Eirlandia Series by Stephen Lawhead. I just finished the last book in the series, that came out in July, entitled In The Kingdom Of All Tomorrows. True, Stephen is not the snappiest of title writers, but he has written an enjoyable page-turner of a fantasy series set in ancient Ireland. It includes elements of magic from contact with realm of faery and the religious influence of the druids, as well as Celtic history and plenty of battle scenes. A great companion to take to the beach or the back yard.
