Lethbridge put on another excellent Word On The Street Festival this weekend. Author visits, independent publishers, bookstores and musical performances were all part of the annual event. I particularly enjoyed hearing from author Kevin Van Tighem about his new book, Understory.

A biologist and a former Superintendent of Banff National Park, Kevin has a lot to pass on regarding Alberta's history with our ecosystems and his life working in the province's parks.
