Canadian Wines

People are asking if I can recommend some Canadian wines they might enjoy, because they're wanting to buy local this year. Here are a couple of suggestions for rosé season.

Latitude 50 Rosé. According to Save On Foods, this affordable wine is a "pretty coral pink rose has an aroma of wild, strawberry, watermelon, cherry and melon. The light, smooth, off-dry mouth-feel has flavours of juicy red berries and melon."
We've been enjoying the Grey Monk Rosé from the Okanagan repeatedly this year, it's been my favorite so far. Of course, bear in mind I have yet to visit the Okanagan to try new vintages for 2025, a situation I hope to remedy soon. Wine and Beyond says: "The (45%) Merlot, (14%) Syrah, (13%) Malbec grapes were left on skins for 5 to 15 hours developing a lovely pink colour; after pressing, the juice underwent a 21-day cool fermentation in stainless steel tanks." They go on to state this process maximised the fruit flavours.
