A couple of the best Okanagan rosés of the season are shown here in my latest recommendation. While I certainly haven't been able to try all the offerings from British Columbia's best wine-growing region, (nobody could, with the number of wineries), of the ones I did get to sample these two in particular stood out.
The Larch Hills Winery had an excellent selection of wines and no tasting fee. Having limited time, we could not sample everything, but this dry-style rosé was excellent. We enjoyed the view of the valley from their location high in the Larch Hills.
Hidden Chapel created this rosé in honor of the winemaker's late wife, who unfortunately passed away last year. Very dark for a rosé, with a high alcohol content, it's almost a red and almost a port. A unique and intriguing wine.
Patio weather is finally here, so kick back and enjoy some Okanagan rosés!
